Rain L. Marshall, JD is a Yankton Sioux tribal member and the mother of two Alder Grove girls. One daughter is currently in 12th-grade and the other one graduated in 2015. Rain works as an Indigenous Education Advocate for the Northern California Indian Development Council. She is a lecturer at Humboldt State University. Her lectures include Native American Studies and Critical Race, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
