STAR TESTING 2010
Dear Alder Grove families,
Below, please find the schedule for 2010 STAR testing. Testing will take place Tuesday, April 13th – Friday, April 16th. Please look at the schedule to determine the testing dates and times for the grades of your students. Please note that testing takes place over a period of several days for each grade. All testing will take place at the classroom site on the corner of Sonoma & F Streets in Eureka.
Remember there are no on-site classes during the week of STAR testing.
STAR testing is a mandated part of enrollment in California public schools. All students in grades 2-11 are required to participate.
Although we don’t believe that STAR testing truly measures the value of our personalized approach to education, it is the tool that the state uses for measuring our success and continued existence.
If you have any questions about testing please don’t hesitate to call your teacher or the school office. Thank you all in advance for having your students participate in this important mandate.
